I have seen in Animal world serials African meerkats from the deserts and grasslands of southern Africa. I know they live in company with total cooperation and sharing tasks like foraging, babysitting, and guarding against predators.
But I didn't know meerkats have bad characteristics and dangerous for other small animals. However, I have heard that termites, and ants are easy prey for animals like rats etc. So if you say they meerkats survive by attacking and eating termite, I am not surprised. You have come up with a great story, I wish you the best.

To be frank, we all hear them from the knowledgeable ones so I guess no one has the expertise of writing fables. We can just search and research and write them but I am afraid none will be original. We have a world famous book called "The stories from Panchtantra"
