A little afternoon stroll on holidays..
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
This month's weekends were spent in a busy atmosphere. The first weekend of the month was for exams, the next week's weekend I went to Ghazipur, the week after that I went to a friend's wedding. And this week's weekend was at home. Many of you know that my weekends are Saturday and Sunday. So today I didn't have much work on my holidays. I have a bad habit of waking up late on days when the office is closed. Today I woke up around 10 am. As soon as I woke up, I saw that it was raining outside. What a situation, I have to clean some clothes, and it is raining at the same time, I thought what to do. If I don't clean them again, I will have to go to the office from Monday, and then I won't have time. I thought, whatever happens, I washed the clothes. I soaked all the clothes in a bucket. After washing them, taking a bath and finishing breakfast, it was 12 o'clock. After eating lunch, I slept in bed for a while. Bhabhi called and said, "Ready, let's go for a walk." Although for the past few days I have been hearing that everyone will go for a walk on Singer Bridge.
Everyone is ready to go today. But with the weather, I didn't want to go if we got wet in the rain. Still, since everyone is going, I have to take them. And my elder brother also said to take everyone around. We got ready and left around 3 pm. Then my brother arranged an auto. There were four of us and four children. The bridge is quite far from our house. I have never been there before. Although I have been coming here for two months. The auto driver is familiar with us and he dropped us off on the bridge. If we call him when we are done, he will come and pick us up. The bridge is 307 meters long. We walked from the other end of the bridge. It felt quite nice, the sky was cloudy and the wind was cold. There were big electricity towers installed next to the bridge. I saw a few people fishing with spears in the river.
When I reached the other end of the bridge, I saw a sand-filled trawler boat being unloaded with the help of a machine. I stood there for a while and watched it. Now everyone said they would eat puffs. In fact, if you go for a walk, the walk is incomplete without eating puffs. I ordered five plates of puffs. Each plate of puffs costs 60 taka. There was a time when I used to eat fast food a lot, but since the gas problem has become more frequent, I don't eat it even if I want to. After waiting for some time, our puffs came. Then we started eating. I can eat many puffs alone. Our total bill comes to 300 taka. Then everyone goes down the bridge and goes to the river bank. Now the water in the river is high. I see small boats on the river bank. I asked Jigsaw how much they charge for a walk in the river. He asked how many people there are, I said four and a child. He said he would give 200 taka. I said I would give 100 taka, he said. Later he agreed. Actually, it is much more fun to take a boat ride on the river like this.
We all got into the boat. Then he took us to the middle of the river. A picnic boat was passing by. Everyone was dancing to the tune of the song. We cruised around in the boat for about 20 minutes. Then he brought us to the river bank and dropped us off. Then I gave him the rent. While cruising in the boat, we were all eating nuts together. I really like spending time in nature like this. I shared the video of the boat trip with you.
Then we called the car driver to go home. After some time, he came. Then we set off for home. It was quite nice to spend the afternoon with my family like this. On the way back, I saw a man selling mowa made of muri on the side of the road. I parked the car and got out and bought mowa again.
If you have eaten this mowa, then definitely let me know. Today's holiday afternoon was spent quite well. Everyone stay well and healthy. I will see you again with a new post of mine.
