Before proceeding, I would like to extend an invitation to
@wakeupkitty, @nainaztengra, and @stef1 to take part in this contest.

Last week, I was unable to attend two wedding ceremonies. In India, this month is widely celebrated for weddings.
Regrettably, I was unable to participate due to the recent passing of my niece. In accordance with our customs, we are not permitted to engage in any festive events for a period of one year following such a loss.

Moreover, I do not feel emotionally prepared to engage in any joyful celebrations at this time. Although this month is often regarded as a month of love, I find it difficult to embrace.
This perspective is due to the close relationship I have lost.

There are two primary reasons for emphasising the aforementioned points. First, the images I am sharing have been transmitted via WhatsApp. Second, I intend to focus on personal selection rather than delving into professional considerations.

The rationale behind this approach is that an inadequate foundation in personal selection can lead to mental imbalance. I will discuss some pertinent aspects without addressing each question in detail.

While individuals cannot alter their parental circumstances—more accurately, they cannot select their parents—they have the autonomy to choose suitable life partners, friends, and other significant individuals in their lives.

In many cases, the bride and her family tend to evaluate the groom based on his financial stability and physical appearance. Additionally, families often prefer a nuclear family structure for the groom.

Conversely, the criteria set by the groom's family are typically similar, with an initial emphasis on physical attractiveness, followed by educational background and the family’s status.

In my view, one critical aspect that families often neglect when making selection decisions is the importance of medical history.

This information is essential, as it plays a significant role in understanding the potential health risks to children. Genetic predispositions can lead to various illnesses, and without an examination of the medical background, we frequently overlook hereditary conditions that could potentially be prevented.

During my experience working with non-governmental organisations, I observed that issues such as substance addiction and domestic violence often have a genetic predisposition. Children frequently emulate their parents' behaviours, and a nurturing family environment can only be cultivated through a sound mind and a healthy thought process. Additionally, the mentality of gender bias is often perpetuated across generations.

Parents should actively monitor their children's social circles and the backgrounds of their friends. This vigilance is crucial, especially considering real-life incidents, such as a child committing a violent act against his mother under the influence of his peers.

Numerous such stories can evoke strong emotional responses and serve as a compelling basis for discussion. I am considering incorporating several of these narratives into my forthcoming content to underscore the significance of this issue.

It is essential to emphasise that the selection of friendships and influences extends beyond professional considerations; it holds profound implications for personal safety and well-being.
