For me, weekend is like a reset button. Monday to friday is always full with work, deadlines, meetings that always drag from generator that doesn't want to start. But once weekend show its face, it gives the chance to breathe small and enjoy a little.
Weekend is valuable because it can balance someone life. It's the time which i can reconnect with family, gist with friends, or even just to lie down and watch Nollywood film with chilled malt by my side. Sometimes, I use it to wash clothes, or cook one of my favorite meals I choose.
So the simple clear truth is that, weekend can just remind someone that life is not only about hustle. If you don't rest, your body will break down. And for here which everything go fast, weekend serve as that small pocket of peace that can help you to recharge before Monday loads will start again.

সত্যি কথা বলতে গেলে ছোটোবেলায় ক্লাস ফাইভ -সিক্স পর্যন্ত এই রবিবার টা পুরোপুরি ছুটি পেয়েছি। তবে তারপর থেকে দুটো করে টিচার থাকার কারণে রবিবারটা সম্পূর্ণভাবে আর কখনোই ছুটি পাইনি।
তারপর যত দিন গড়িয়েছে জীবনের জটিলতা তত বেড়েই চলেছে। দুটো মাস্টার থেকে তিনটে, তিনটি থেকে ইলেভেন টুয়েলভে পাঁচটা মাস্টার। এভাবেই ছুটির দিনগুলো কোথায় যেন হারিয়ে গেছে।
এখন আমি একজন গৃহশিক্ষিকা। সপ্তাহের প্রত্যেক দিনই সকাল, বিকাল, রাত---ছেলে মেয়েদের পড়িয়েই দিন কাটছে। অবসর নেওয়ার যেন সময় নেই। সত্যি কথা বলতে গেলে মনে তেমন শান্তিও নেই। মনটা কেবলই ছুটে চলে অজানা কোনো গন্তব্যের দিকে, যে গন্তব্য সহজে ছোঁয়া যায় না।
