That is very interesting topic and we all had some relationship to this topic. Probably more often in old time and now more developed the technology not so many people believe in such places.
When I was a little child I always heard from my grandmother about Heaven, that there is a place where people go when they are old and that they are happy and healthy and free there. That people have their deserved rest and that place has everything.
Understandably, as children we also wanted to go to this magic place but I remember the expression of my grandmother's face, how we made her laugh and she said that for us it is a long time till then and we need to live and experience a lot till the time comes and we will also go to this magic place.
My grandma never told us about other place called "Hell", maybe she did not want to scare us but maybe we were good kids and it was no reason to make us scared.
Later on, of course, I heard some stories about that bad place where some bad people go after death and will be punished, burnt in eternal fire. I was worried and swore that I will not do everything so that I never have to go to that place.
While we are grown up, we still have the thoughts about "life after life" in our mind, although we do not imagine that as it was presented on the beautiful paintings in Palazzo Ducale, Venice. Maybe we just want to know what it is and how it looks like.
We all heard about the light and tunnel and that our soul will fly through it towards the Heaven, often that angels will guide us through that path. Maybe that is ideal way of what happens after life and I am absolutely happy with this idea of Heaven.
As to another panel on image above, that represents Hell, it is dark, there are some creatures that will be torturing the souls and there is no peace. That is how the ancient artists imagined the picture of Hell.
I believe in the past churches often gave such requests to artists to decorate their walls and when during service people visit it, they then have something to be scared of and to be good members of society.
Nowadays, we all make our own decision and often even though we do not believe in such places like Heaven and Hell, we still try to be good and not to do anything that on our "Judgement day" will be used for the judgement of our live.
As to me, I really do not know if I believe or not, but nobody knows for sure what is happening with our souls after death. The one thing is for sure, our souls are an energy and energy can not disappear, energy can be transformed from one to another condition, that is why I hope that it is not an end but what is then?...

The question also bothered me a lot when I lost my parents at an early age! People often say and still believe our loved ones become stars after death. From there the concept of the topic came to my mind. Often some questions bother us, especially for our near and dear.

I can imagine that being a young child and losing parents one will try to find an explanation why it happened and why to you. I am glad that you managed to develop yourself in such kind and supportive personality, who remains very positive and kind.
The topic of the challenge is very philosophical and I can feel that this is a topic that I assume many return on and on in our live and I think using this for challenge is might be something that we analyse once again for us and often we find that people no matter where they are not really different but even very much the same.

You have said that when you were a little child you always heard from your grandmother about Heaven. Yes this is the concept we listen from very begging of our life. We have heard Heaven is for good people and Hell is for bad people.

You have really pour out so much to learn from this I must confess. Yes I grow up knowing fully well that both heaven and hell is real most especially from my mother also. But when I grow up, I discovered it is beyond been told but a conviction build up. I always tell people around me that we must always be careful of how we live our life because karma exists.
No matter what you do whether good or bad, karma exists and it is really going to offer to us in the same measure of what we do. It really goes a long way in determining our future. If we do good, we will surely reap the good we do and vice versa also if we do bad, we will also reap the bad we do also. I think the world of humanity needs karma to exist to guide our deeds.
Heaven is quite real and hell is real and I discovered what we determine whether we will make it or not goes a long way on our lifestyle. If we live a bad lifestyle, we will end up in hell but if we live a life that God is pleased with, we will eventually make heaven which some religion called paradise also. So much to learn from this your post. Thank you so much for sharing this

Through your post, I could recall my childhood days when I used to spend most of my time in my maternal home and my grandmother used to talk of hell and heaven both to make us know what we will get for good and bad deeds. She used to emphasise these things to make us good, responsible citizens and used to instil both joy and fear of rewards and consequences respectively for what we did. I owe my grandmother a lot for what she did to make me a good citizen.

Hello my friend, Heaven and Hell, fantasy or reality? Ths has intrigued humanity for centuries. I can see you was fascinated by the idea of Heaven, a place of eternal happiness. But as you grew older, the concept of Hell, a realm of eternal punishment, also became a part of your understanding. Whether we believe in these places or not, the idea of life after death continues to captivate us. While our beliefs may vary, the curiosity remains about what happens to our souls after we leave this world. Energy cannot be destroyed, only transformed, leaving room for endless possibilities. The mystery of Heaven and Hell may never be fully understood, but it continues to shape our perceptions of life and death.
Yes, I agree, there are so many stories, movies and fantasy, I hope we try to dream about what will be then that sometimes take our concerns always about something that we are not aware about. The same time it is fascinating thing and can not stop dreaming about that :)
The debate of whether heaven or hell exist have been long existing for years but I strongly believe that both heaven and hell exist. And that is why I always tell people to always be extra careful in what they do also when it comes to the law of karma because the law of karma also exist. It determines our future and what we can become in life even down to the point of our future
