RE: Is Looting Ever Justifiable?

in Deep Dives5 years ago

We can extend this to the murders, looting etc done in the name of war. It a mass cognitive dissonance effect. So many laws have been passed that dictate what responsible behavior looks like, that few of us are able to make these decisions for ourselves. Everything has been confused to make us easier to control.

I strongly suspect the FBI and CIA and other intelligence community entities are responsible for fomenting the violence. They have done this many times before, both here and abroad. I remember watching one of the truthers follow a supposed antifa member who had just done some damage - the antifa walked right behind police lines, the "antifa" was with the police. I hate to think of all our police being in on this, but they are human and as easy to hypnotize as the rest of us to do their parts in the charade. Our pot is being deliberately stirred. Sometimes I fear this is just priming us for a coup in November should Trump win the election.

Indeed, we've become morally lazy; this has caused many of us to think that adherence to the law automatically makes for righteous behavior, when in fact "lawful" doesn't always imply "just" or "moral".
