SFS Contest: New Year Celebrations Plans.

Happy New Year to all my friends. The long anticipated day has come when we all wish each other a Happy New Year and begin our new year resolutions. New year celebrations are one of the celebrations that I always look forward to and I am glad I just did one yesterday.

What do you think about new year celebrations? Is it necessary to celebrate?

I know some people just like my dad who says that new year celebrations are not very important. They believe it is just another day and there is nothing special about it but as for me, there are so many things special about the new year and that’s why celebration is very important.
The new year celebration is one of the most important celebrations ever. Entering a new year is one of the upmost goal of everyone and if we’re able to achieve that, it is worth celebrating.

What are your plans for new year celebrations?

I could have actually said the best way to celebrate the new year is by going out but no. Normally, my family and I step out for every new year celebration but this time, we have chosen not to do that this time. The only thing we want to do is stay at home, cook and chat with each other.

Right now, we all are at home especially because my siblings and I now live in different places and this is the best time for us to bond so staying at home and having honest conversations is the best way to spend quality time with each other.
About my new year celebration, all I want to do and I’m doing right now is spending quality time with family.

I said earlier that my family and I always love to step out during new year celebrations and there was a time when we did that and we had fun. We went to ShopRite, bought some groceries, played some games and watched a movie at the cinema. I guess that was the best new year celebration I have ever had.
