Steemit Learning Challenge-S27W6; Physiofit; Case Study 2 Challenge
Hello friends I hope you are great today I am here to take part in another learning challenge Steemit Learning Challenge-S27W6; Physiofit; Case Study 2 Challenge.
Task 1: You have to find a case study like I have shared but not the same disease, then confirm the diagnosis of the disease, add 3 to 4 causes.
Case Study
I have found 38 years old lady, she told me she had few issues like feeling weakness, numbness or might be the tingling sensation too in her left hand
When I asked in which region you felt it most she further explained she had felt in three regions like in middle finger, index finger and also in the thumb. Hence she is working in computer office and she is left handed and when she typed more on computer for longer time felt more pain. Though she had some test which I saw it was phalen's test it was also positive.
Diagnosis
Well on the basis of sign and symptoms and also the physical examination, moreover her positive tests showed that she is patient of carpal tunnel syndrome, in which all above mentioned symptoms are observed.
Now I will discuss the causes
Though the lady is working on computer she had more repetitive motion such typing etc which may become the reason of inflammation and also median nerve may be compressed.
As the working in computer office doesn't provide appropriate working place most of the time due to rush of the people and work load due to typing may become the cause of carpal tunnel syndrome.
When there is disturbance in hormone level specially during the menopause, or pregnancy or facing any thyroid issues also become the cause of median nerve compression.
Certain anatomical issues such fracture or wrist injury or any sprain may become the reason of swelling or compression of median nerves.
Task 2: You have to share symptoms of your patient history and confirm that diagnoses of the given cases study.
Well as I gave discussed in above question I have takenPatient history she worked in computer office and most of the time she is typing.
From the past six months she shared the following symptoms.
The patient had symptoms of tinglingsensation in index, middle finger and also in thumb and it passed on towards lateral side of ring finger.
The patient had history of weakness in her left hand, as she felt pain in hand, and she further told me she felt difficulty in holding the objects and her grip is becoming weak.
Hence patient has feeling of pain which is towards burning sensation in forearm, wrist region also in hand and her pain increased in night time.
She complained I felt difficulties in performing few tasks like I couldn't open shirt button or sometimes when I tried to tied my shoelaces.
Hence these symptoms are worson when I am typing and felt it more during night time it become painful.
My confirmatory diagnosis for patient
Hence I have taken patient history in details and also physical examination moreover she has phalen's test reports which are positive it's the indication that patients has carpal tunnel syndrome.
Hence I recommend her to go to doctor as he suggests you electromyography and nerve conduction studies.
Task 3: You have to find the best protocol for any disease and then perform the exercises of your specific task. It would be better to perform the exercises and share videos or pictures while performing and then review after getting treatment. (Try to use 3 methods).

Observations
Thank you for kind review.
Saludos apreciado amigo. Son patologías bastante complejas a pesar que se deriva de actividades tan sencillas y cotidiana. Has hecho un gran diagnóstico y sobre todo un tratamiento impecable
Bendiciones.
