My roomie and I had been talking about a movie night for months, which as many other things, we could not actually do. We wanted to prepare food and watch a movie in the living room after making a cozy place with sofa cushions. However, our schedules never tallies either I had work to do at night or she does.

It was the same plight last week too but we badly wanted some rest, so we decided to have our long wanted movie night. The idea came suddenly when we were doing our weekly grocery shopping, so we bought ice cream and ulundu wadei as our snacks to munch on while watching the movie. There wasn't time to arrange our living room for a movie night, and thus, the selected place was my friend's room. Selecting a movie wasn't that hard because we had a movie in our mind. So we only needed to start watching it. However, we had to later on change both the movie and the lap 😅

Timing was really great that day. As soon as we finished our snacks and were starting to feel the need of something to eat, our boarding aunt sent us soup and bread. It was a nice surprise and a treat for our stress-relieving time. Both of us felt refreshed after a happy movie session, but the stress hits back when we had to start working again. However, we had more energy and a fresher mind even amidst the stress because we gave ourselves some time to recharge and it really increased our productivity. And we couldn't be prouder that we could finally have the long discussed movie session after months 😅
