Work From Office Day

Hope you all are doing good. So, gradually we came to the end of another month in 2024. We all are busy this month with Awurudu celebration and relations visiting and all the things.

However, since we are required to work from office for a week, I thought to go to office in last week. Though we need to go to the office at least one day for a week, I used to go to the office one day for a month since I’m living in Dambadeniya in these days. Actually, this is my most difficult task that I’m doing for a month.

Since the people who are working in the IT sector, most of us are used to work from home in nowadays. It is easy, and a money and time saving method as well. Otherwise, we have to spend more time for traveling. Due to this facility, we could be able to do more task as well. I think it is beneficial for the company aspect as well. Because people are doing more work than in the old days. In the other hand the employers can spend more time with their families, they can save their time and money as well.

I wake up at 4.30 am to go to the office and I was able to go to office around 8.15 am. Actually, it is not an easy task to travel by bus in the early morning. Sometimes I could be able to have a seat. However, when I came to the office and after seeing the beautiful view in Colombo, I forgot all the difficulties that I have made when traveling to there.

Since our office is situated in Union Place Colombo it has a beautiful view. Ocean view, lotus tower, CCC can be seen from here. Actually, I like very much to work here. Though it is very difficult to come to the office, we have benefits from that effort. We can collaborate with other team members and also with our own team members. Not only that, but we can also do our task very easily when we are in our office. Because we can contact our members easily and get their help to quickly solve our problems.

I attended some meetings and had my lunch from the lunch area for free. And able to make some new friends as well. I finished my work at 5.00 pm and came back home. I hope it was a another well spent day at office.
