Chandrika Lake Ambilipitiya
Chandrika lake is one of the most popular lakes
nowadays, as it has a unique water flow during the rainy season. I've seen many videos about it and had a dream to visit it one day. Finally that "one day" came!
After visiting baby elephants at the transit home udawalawa we had our lunch from a nearby restuarant. Then we headed to Chandrika lake in Ambilipitiya, which is located near to the main road. It took about 30 minitues from udawalawa to the lake.
That's a huge lake which supplies water for many paddy fields, like in Anuradhapura. I just rememebered the Thissa lake where we visited few months ago. I wanted to bathe in the water canal of the lake, but the viallgers said that it's not safe to bathe in the water canal. Lake seemed more safer, as some people were bathing there, at the moment.
The sun was above us, spreading it's most shiny rays on the lake. That felt so good when we got in to the water. All of us were overjoyed with the cool and comfortable touch of lake water. Two dogs also got in to the water and waited until they got the comfort they've wished. I did not know that dogs do that when they feel hot. We had some sandwiches in the bag and gave them to that innocent dogs.
We had a joyful time there, at the lake. Praveen even thanked me since I was the one who found about the lake and my little sister's extreme joy cherished me. Our face skin got burned by the sun rays, as I thought before got in to the water. Still we can apply something on it, but we can not apply anything for that precious moment.
On the way back, we saw few herds of deers and elephants along the Udawalawa lake. That was a short, beautiful journey!

Considering you are the designated ambassador of Sri Lanka, is it advice by @pennsif that you can possibly cross to other asean country to look users publishing their post in steem-atlas like Philippines because it has no country ambassador assigned?. Or just stake to your country itself?

Yes, you are right friend! I am now verifying the posts mainly from Sri Lanka, and we are allowed to look at other Asian countries without ambassadors. I see you are already getting along with the project nicely!
