Transforming a Lazy Weekend Morning into a Productive Painting Project

Saturday morning was supposed to be another lazy weekend morning, but we decided to paint our new wall fence. It was finished a few weeks ago, and we wanted to paint it with the initial filler paint.

As the first task of the day, we finished all the cooking and cleared our schedule until the evening for the painting work. Harith and I planned to do this by ourselves, and his father also gave us helpful hands for this work.

We mixed the filler with water to create a thicker mixture and started painting using the roller. Harith's father filled edges and molding areas that we couldn't reach with roller brushes.

Although it was very fun in the morning, things started to become difficult around noon. The warmth is very high these days, and it made us very tired. Nonetheless, Harith's mother prepared cool drinks for us, which relieved us for some time.

Even though we initially planned to finish two coatings by the end of the day, we realized how tiresome it was. By 3 PM, we were able to finish the first coat. Since we were all very hungry, we decided to call it a day. We were only able to finish the first coating on the front side of the wall. Also, it took around 8 liters of paint.

There's still a lot more to do.
