The Sand palaces

My family always finds joy in small things. In order to increase our enjoyment, we visited Pamunuwa Beach yesterday.

It was around 2:30 p.m. My son suggested visiting the beach. Since my daughter-in-law is also ready for anything, she quickly got ready with her son, Ayuesh. She bathed and fed Ayush right away. My son gathered beach toys for Ayush in the meantime. I arrange tea in a flask. We were prepared for the trip in less than an hour.

We left the house at about 3.45 p.m. The distance to Pamunuwa Beach from our house is about 40 kilometres; therefore, it took more than an hour to reach Pamunuwa Beach. Despite it being a Saturday, the beach was quite silent, as there was not a big crowd. It was also a really lovely location. People choose this location for pre-shooting because it is not busy. Earlier, we went to Brown Beach in Negombo. As it is well-known, it is crowded.

When we arrived at the beach, it was around 5:00 p.m., and there weren't many cars in the park. It was Ayesh's second time at the beach. We placed all of the toys, shoes, and other items on it. Next, we kept Ayush on the mat. He got up and attempted to walk on the beach because he was so delighted. Then, Ayush's parents helped him to walk by catching him by both hands.

Most of the time, aeroplanes flew over us because the location was closer to Katunayake Airport. Ayush clapped his hands and looked at the aeroplanes. We enjoyed the place in peace because there were only four or five families.

We built so many sand palaces on the beach to increase Ayush's happiness. When the waves made them disappear, Ayush was curious.

He walked freely on the sand with a happy smile. While he was playing with toys, he filled his toy wheelbarrow with sand. Ayush’s mother fed him cereal and a banana as an extra meal.

We also enjoyed the cup of tea. We took photographs as we wanted with Ayush. We were there till about 7.00 p.m. As the sun began to set, the place was getting dark. So, we packed all the items to return. On our way, we stopped at a restaurant and ate kotthu. Ayush tasted egg hoppers. The day ended with a happy mood.
