Assalamu Alaikum. Greetings Sri Lankan community. How are you all? I hope that by the grace of Allah, you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am also doing well. I pray to Allah that we are always doing well.

Today I want to share a post with you about my memories of the old days. Basically, there are old days in every person's life. When we remember those full days, we miss them a lot. We think the old days were very happy.

Right now, I am remembering those old days. The time was 2018 :;

In 2018, I had to go to Gazipur city to overcome the economic crisis. My family and I went to Gazipur city together. After about six days of going there, I took a job in a garment factory.

After taking a job in a garment factory, my first situation was very bad. Especially, I had to struggle a lot to understand the rules and workings of the garment factory. However, I was able to overcome all the adverse weather conditions later and it gave me a lot of relief.

As time went by, my days became more beautiful. Because I was able to adapt myself to the rules of the garment factory. Gradually, I was doing good work and becoming a favorite of everyone. Those first moments of working in the garment factory were very good.

Moreover, we had to work a lot for our work. When it was very cold in the foreign country, it was hot in Bangladesh. On this hot day, we had to make a lot of clothes. For this, we were divided into two shifts and we slept at night and then we had to work.

Working in the garment factory was fun, but I enjoyed it to some extent. Because after a few days, I became a favorite of everyone. I had one good thing and that was a deep interest in work. I did not neglect any kind of work. I worked with deep attention and I explained the production on time.

Along with this, several of my friends were saved. We went there from different countries in search of jobs. But I gave more importance to my Sylhet friends. Because the people of Sylhet region of Bangladesh are very simple and nice. Their behavior impressed me a lot.

Two friends took jobs with me. My dearest friend was a boy named Shantipur Rahman. He used to talk a little bit. Even then, the friendship I had with him was really unforgettable and remarkable.

We used to enjoy various picnics or events a lot. Especially, I had a good smartphone. As a result, my friend and I used to have a lot of fun at picnic parties and enjoyed it very much.

Moreover, we used to enjoy the two Eids the most.

Our office was declared closed to celebrate Eid. At least ten days of leave were given. We were paid on the day the holiday was declared. The day the salary was paid was a special day for us. Because on that day we would get a day off together and receive our full monthly salary, which would allow us to increase the joy of Eid.

Basically, I had a good relationship with the entire office staff and workers. I quickly became a favorite of the office staff. In just three months of connection, I adopted garments.

Basically, I have lost those old days. I liked working in garments a lot more. Sometimes, when the boss would come and scold me if the work was wrong, I remember that day very well. Although that time felt quite bad, now I remember those days very well. The best thing was to have dinner together in the office. Since we were on duty in the night shift, we used to have dinner together as friends. After finishing dinner, we would come out and have tea.

Anyway, I have many memories in the garment factory. After about 6 years, I was able to share my memories through the Sri Lankan community. When I was sharing my memories, I felt like I was back in 2018.
