RE: Comment contest//Rock music genre
I listen to music, but it's not like oxygen for me. I don't really have a favorite artist. Well I know nothing about the artist of my current favorite song, not even it's name (should I feel ashamed? Yes. am I? No.)
Among all artists, Imagine Dragons has the most tracks in my playlist, (Birds, Believer, Bad Liar, Monster, I'm so sorry, Love, Bullet in a gun, I dont like myself so an so) but I often skip them when listening on shuffle. Their songs have amazing lyrics, beats, and rhythm, but I need a particular mood to truly enjoy them.
To answer @khursheedanwar question, It's a very close tie between Falling in Reverse and Bon Jovi, but I'd have to give a slight edge to Bon Jovi. Since I have known it longer. I only have four or five of their songs that I like, but woah! they're incredibly good.
I'm drawn to Bon Jovi's songs for several reasons. First, the prominent drumbeat which is definitely a plus for me since I have a huge drum thing. I also love the way they carry a mind-blowing rhythm throughout the song and the chorus. Plus, their lyrics have a meaning and they are kinda love songs (I think, but I have no thing for love songs). A cherry on top Bon Jovi is pretty, like pretty handsome (fanning myself).
Again a close call between Bad Medicine, and You give love a bad name. (sighs- It hurts to choose) I will go with Bad Medicine, My favorite verse or lines are 2:00 and when the chorus comes at 4:20.
I still won't say it's my fav band, because I love individual songs rather than specific bands or artists. I feel bad that I had to choose one, because songs like Bohemian rhapsody, Voices in my head, Blood//water, VAN, exists. like okay I'm not putting my entire playlist here. (I need someone to feel me).
Good enough for me. I don't listen daily, no radio and the mood does play a role if it comes to the choice of music.
🍀♥️
I agree! mood really plays role when listening to music. Plus Thankyou for the upvote.
