Writing expedition: The Importance of Parent-Child Communication
I believe that in a world of insecurity and a lack of moral values across every corner, there is a need for parent-child communication because it is one of the fundamental structures for children to grow healthy. Parent-child communication talks about the consistent exchange of thoughts, experiences, feelings, and information between parents and children. If parents create an effective communication with their children, which is not just about giving instructions or asking questions will help children become open and feel comfortable about sharing their worries with their parents.

This kind of Parent-child communication all lies with understanding emotions, asking questions, and creating a place where children can feel good in expressing themselves to prevent anxiety and depression, and help develop into individuals with moral values. From the early childhood of kids into adolescence, the quality of close communication a child gets in families has a major influence on their behavior, academic performance, well-being, and social relationships.
As children grow to know that their parents are ready to listen to what they want to say without starting to judge them, they build a stronger sense of security and trust. In a world where we see technology and busy schedules keeping this parent-child communication, it is when parents make efforts for their children to give them great help as their they grow because childhood is what builds them into who they will become as adults.

One of the importance of parent-child communication is the development of intelligence in children. Children feel a lot of emotions as they develop, such as fear, happiness, sadness, excitement, and even frustration. With open communication, parents can help their children to understand and control their emotions effectively. When parents help children to express how they feel they are educating them that emotions are natural and that talking about them in the right manner is healthy.
There is no doubt that "parents are the first teachers of their children". Parents serve as the immediate role models and the conversations they have with their children affect the habits, values, and attitudes that the children will live by. When parent-child communication is encouraged parents can advise their children on the right way of life, helping to stay away from illegal acts like Bullying, Stealing, and Underage Drinking. "I urge all parents to establish this kind of close communication to help build responsible youths.
