Steemit Engagement Challenge S6/W1 - The Joy Of Parenthood.

Greetings to my fellow contestants. I am really happy to be part of this week's engagement challenge put together by steemkids and parents community. It is a very great topic and I will try my best in making this post a success.
The joy of being a parent is enormous. There is this contentment that parents have knowing they have their children by their side. For this reason in Africa, certain traditions require that a man must have at least one child mostly a male child.
Because of this joy of Parenthood, a mother after passing through pain to deliver, on seeing her child will forget that pain and smile 😊.
This joy goes unto the father of the child and even the rest of the family. At this moment everyone has forgotten about their individual sacrifices because of the joy in them.
Being a parent comes with a lot of responsibility on both parents. It requires your time, finances, care and support. But despite all these responsibilities parents are ready to sacrifice all their resources just to make sure their children get what they require for proper upbringing.
My mother for example, can do everything within her power just to make sure her children are well to do. Infact there was a time when she even had to hawk in the market for my elder siblings to be able to go to school.
As parents seeing your child grow is another source of joy. This is the prayer of every parent to see their children grow even up to seeing their grand and even great-grandchildren. For any parent there is no joy greater than this.
Oh I would love to be a parent one day. I would love to also carry my own child in my hands, watch the child grow and become a great man or woman and like I said before see up to my great-grandchildren.
I think I know a little of the joy parents have because I have a lot of parents around me; my siblings and even my own parents. So I would love to also share in that joy one day. But first of all I must be able to take care of myself before I can think of having kids.
I want my kids to not just have hope of survival but also to be able to have hope in their future. Hope that tomorrow will always be well. Hope that that no matter what happens today, tomorrow will always be a better day.

I personally can relate to this, a woman will be shouting in the labor room, gnashing her teeth, some will even swear that they won't put birth again, BUT they forget that pains immediately they set their eyes on their newborn, the joy is usually immense! Yes parents are willing to do anything for their children and the joy of watching your kids grow is incomparable.
