Today I attended the Gampong Blang Village Development Planning Meeting (Musrembangdes) held at our village hall. This event is a crucial part of village development planning, where all government and community elements gather to deliberate and express their aspirations for shared progress.
Since morning, the village hall has been bustling with activity. Village officials have been busy preparing seating and equipment for the event. Residents have begun arriving eagerly to participate.

The Village Development Planning Meeting (Musrembangdes) is more than just a regular meeting; it serves as a crucial forum for determining the future direction of village development. The sub-district head and his wife also attended the event, who fully supported the village-level planning process. Their presence demonstrated the sub-district government's attention and concern for the development of our village. Furthermore, the sub-district Babinsa (village supervisory officer) was present to provide support and ensure the event ran safely and orderly. Village facilitators also played an active role in providing guidance on development programs that could be proposed and implemented.
In his remarks, the sub-district head emphasized the importance of community participation in determining development priorities. He emphasized that village development must be based on the community's real needs, not just plans on paper. He also encouraged the community to remain united and united in village development.
During the deliberation, various suggestions were submitted by the community. Some suggested repairing village roads, improving agricultural facilities, strengthening small businesses, and building educational and religious facilities. All proposals were recorded and discussed together to determine priorities within the 2026 budget.
