Fulfilling my Childhood Cravings to My Children
It's been a while when we go out completely in the family. Since my husband has enduring an acid reflux for 6 months now, my eldest daughter was in my mother's care. We didn't go out before because my husband was afraid to go out because of his acid reflux.
On this day, my daughter went home because my mother is sick and no one can take care of her. My mother is currently under recovery from her pneumonia. She just need antibiotics to get well. I am glad my daughter is with us so we go out to the nearby mall. It is already lunch time so we direct to their favorite fastfood.
I bought them kiddie happy meals because it has a surprise toy in each box. When I was a kid, I wanted to have a kiddie meal but my parents can't afford. Until in my age, I never have the chance to experience my childhood with a kiddie meal. Now, I want to fulfill my childhood cravings to my daughters, not to spoil them, but I want to see myself on them how happy is a childhood with these toys.
After eating our lunch, I brought them to the arcade which I love to go before but my parents were busy working to sustain our needs. I saw genuine happiness on my children's eye from this simple ride. They enjoyed the ride and want more.
While my husband was buying some little groceries, the kids were on a playhouse. I paid for 30 minutes playing while waiting on their father. Enjoying in a playhouse was once my dream house when I was a kid but due to poverty, I never experienced it. Now that I have extra money, I want them to enjoy their childhood.
In our last stop, we were in the dinosaur ride. My eldest was scared but looking at her sister enjoying, she also tried riding the moving dinosaur.
We didn't stay in the mall until dinner because my husband prepared his dinner. He has a special taste on his food because of his acid reflux.
We enjoyed together and seeing my happy complete is enough. When my mother gets recovered, my daughter will come back to her because she missed her. We'll just get to visit them everyday.
This has been my diary game. Thank you for reading.
