School Based Vaccination

Hi everyone!

Today is Dec 15, scheduled for a vaccination of measles. Only grade 1 pupils are patients for today. There are 7 sections with 30 pupils per section. It is advised to take the vaccination for the immunity from measles. It is given free from local government.

While we were having a regular class, the medical team came. Last week, I send some waiver and parents consent for each pupils on their communication notebook. I prepared their waver and parents consent before their vaccination.

There are some parents who agreed but there are some who refused. It's the right of every parents to decide for the health of their children. I gathered the pupils ready for vaccination and send them to the school ground.

Each vaccinated pupil is given a vaccine card. They are carefully injected so they will feel relax. There are some pupils who cried and afraid of injections. There are also pupils who are relaxed and calm during the vaccination.

Overall, the vaccination is successful. The pupils are under observation for 24 hours. I hope everything will be fine. The vaccine is proven safe and healthy for the pupils.
