ONE LAST SPARK

As the year comes to close, my advisory class gathers for the final celebration right after their final examination. They decided to have a year-end bash. “One Last Spark” marks not an ending but a beautiful pause to reminisce all the good and bad times made for the whole school year. They were able to create friendship from strangers. They were able to make great moments and laughters with their so called bestfriends.

They had a formal celebration started with a prayer of course, followed by the Singing if the National Anthem and the Lapu-Lapu March. Afterwards, they let their selected honor students to have their opening remarks. Afterwards, they let some of their classmates showcase their singing skills. And in that time I was able to see songbirds.

Then they had 3 sets of games and the officers prepared something for the winners. Everyone really enjoyed their last bonding together this school year.

Then we had our snacks. The officers prepared pizza, bread and some junk foods and drinks. Since its our last moment, I also gave them a milk tea treat. And everyone love every sip on it.

After our snacks, I then gave my message and my appreciation as well to all my officers for helping me this school year. After my message, they gave me a certificate of appreciation as their adviser.

After my speech, chosen students gave their message to everyone and most of them cried because they were able to feel that they had a family in the classroom. And I was so overwhelmed with it.

As section Cuyag moves forward to new chapter, may the spark from this celebration continue to inspire dreams, and strengthen their friendships and camaraderie. Keep shining my Cuyag babies, til we meet again next school year.
