No truer can it be said that, internet has a great role to play in the civilization of the society and other important aspects of one's life.
What activities do you do online?
To begin, being online has recently become part of me, that a day or even 2 hours without a phone feels like I'm out of the world . I do quite a lot of activities on the internet. So I'm either on whatsapp, basically viewing people's status and commenting on beautiful pictures and videos. I use the opportunity to make voice and video calls with loved ones, since it doesn’t require airtime, just your data which might not consume so much. I most times visit other social media platforms like facebook, tiktok, and twitter. I'm not too frequent with Instagram.
I also visit the steemit platform very often, I make posts, comment and engage with other users.
I also take online courses and get certified.
Since what age did you start using the internet? How much do you use it every day?
I started using the internet since I was 10 years old, there was this social media platform called 2go, we’d literally be on 2go till day break and it was very interesting and fun
For now, I use the internet every day and every time. In fact, I can’t stay without a data subscription on my phone.
Do you have the internet at home? How much does the service cost?
Yes I have an internet at home which makes ease of communication and living comfortably. The cost of the internet in my region depends on what you want to do, so we will not have to spend unnecessary money. It might cost #500 (3.5 steem) to #5000 (35 steem) to purchase a monthly subscription.
Why do you think the internet can be harmful?
A lot of reasons, children first watch the internet unsupervised by parents and guardians, they tend to become addicted to immoral sites like watching pornography which is dangerous for a child.
A child’s performance in school can be reduced due to time spent on the internet and zaps his or her reading time.
Adults however are not exempted, people are normally depressed when they see on social media that someone else is living their dream life. They feel very terrible and thus, they start an unnecessary competition amongst themselves which will eventually make them spend beyond normal.
They forget that people fake their identity and give false impressions on who they really are on social media.
What benefit has the internet brought to your life?
Without any argument, the internet has been a good tool in my personal and professional development. I have attended a lot of online classes in which I have learnt new skills and gotten certification to boost my CV. This has given me an advantage over my contemporaries in the labor market.
The Internet has also helped me connect with old friends and extended family members. Through chatting, calls and text messages, I can communicate freely and at any time with people even outside the country.

Yo creo que dos horas son mucho media hora que pasemos sin teléfono o sin internet es horrible. Es tan indispensable que no se que sería de nosotros ellos.
Que bueno que cuentes con Internet en casa eso te facilita muchísimo para realizar las actividades diarias, ya que sin contar con el servicio debemos gastar mucho dinero, yo por ejemplo tengo que estar recargando mi teléfono para poder contar con el servicio y es un gasto enorme.

Oh trabajas muchísimo con la Internet, además que la conociste desde muy joven y por eso tienes experiencia al manejarla, sin duda que Internet ha Sido algo bueno para todos.
Y estoy de acuerdo contigo en el dónde dices que el internet puede ser perjudical sobre todo para los niños, esos niños que sin supervisión pasas horas y horas pegados a las computadoras y tables
Aunque hay que saberlo usar y agradecer todo lo que el nos permite disfrutar.

Over the years, the internet has proven to be a very useful tool to many and it's still seful now.
And by the way, you started using the internet at a very young age. I also used 2go some years back, I wonder if such chatting app is still available......
Was very fun back then with that chatting app 2go, it really outdated as other social media platforms emerged.
Let's keep using the internet in the fullest and best possible way
The internet though with it's various crisis comes with many benefits too. We can't help but love and use it especially when it makes a lot of thing much easy.
