The Diary Game: Visiting My Uncle And Spending Sunday With Him 1/3/2026

Hi everyone, coming back from church this morning, I had some other errands to juggle on but first, I did a little clean up at home and then I went to visit my uncle. Since I came back from my brother's place, he has been asking to see me but time has not always been on my side, today, I decided to visit him. When I got there, he was washing his clothes.

My uncle was so happy to see me, I told him that I have been busy throughout since I came back from the event. We went inside and I saw my aunt but she was busy in the kitchen, so I guess my uncle told her I was coming and she was expecting me.

My uncle entertained me with a freshly tapped glass of palm wine. I told him I wasn't going to drink everything in the keg, so I poured some into the class and then I took sips from the glass. It was so sweet, no sweetener was even added go it and I had a full glass of palm wine drank by me.

We were discussing about his daughter (my cousin's) traditional wedding that will be coming month on the month of May. Although she tried telling me something like that but I guess she was waiting for her dad to tell me before she do so. I was so happy to hear this and I promise him that I will be here.

So, I went to the backyard and since I wasn't in a hurry to to go back home, I went to the pig farm, it appears he sold so many of his life because this wasn't the number if pigs I met the last time I came here. My guess was right because he told me he sold off all the pigs and remained about 5. I love this business but the thing is, it's always smelling.

When we got inside, my uncle said we should stroll small to his farm, I was in for it because I had the whole day to spend with him. I told my wife that I wasn't going to come back early so incase she doesn't see me early enough, she shouldn't be scared.

We walked to the farm, accessed the farm and came back to the house. My aunt brought food for us to eat. Ewo! It was my favourite Oha soup. I ate with my uncle but I know I ate more than him. After eating, she brought more that at some point I stopped eating and only ate the meat that was in the food.

I came back home very late, thank God that I went to my uncle's place with my bike. I drove back home and when my wife brought food, I told her I was full and so I went to bath so that I can sleep. Happy Sunday once again.
