Dragonfly Resting on Twig

Dragonfly is a common insect that live around us. It belongs to the order Odonata, infraorder Anisoptera and it is believed one of the first insects to accopy earth. According to research, the early dragonflies about 300 million years back had wingspans of two and a half feet. Although they are not as strong as other insects, dragonflies can survive in the game of life. That's how nature works on this creature. They have their own way to find food just like other creatures that have special capability to survive. Dragonflies dont simply hunt down their prey, but they snag from the air or the high ground for the ambush. With incredibly sharp mandibles, dragonflies can simply knock down the prey. Thus, the dragonflies are a kind of unique insects that always draw us to discover them. Due to this, it was impossible to reach the dragonfly with a smartphone. I managed to take its photos with a DSLR from a long distance range, as well as the way to avoid its notice.
