To be more precise, it’s not really paint, but an emulsion with acrylic particles. When it dries, these particles form a solid thin layer that lets air pass through (so it’s not a sealed film) and stays on the walls for a long time. You can add color pigments to this emulsion if you want to paint the walls in a specific color. Most people choose white because it’s a universal color. If the wall gets damaged somewhere, you can easily fix that spot without repainting a large area.
