The animals’ affection and the calming atmosphere when spending time with them make up for everything!
These are not the words of a farmer. These are the words of a person who loves animals :)
It is my greatest dream that no distinction is made between the two “terms”...
Of course, I am aware of the luxury I enjoy in being able to keep (and feed) so many animals without having to make a profit from them. But shouldn’t it go without saying that farmers also love the animals they work with? You don’t even have to call it “love”; “respect for God’s creation” would do just as well...
