Sad to hear about another sheep down. Often sad when we lost our livestock after many months of care, feeding and securing.

Yes, it's sad every time. Especially when you keep sheep as uneconomically as I do: not as livestock, but as pets – with a lot of love for each individual animal.
But life goes on. For the flock, anyway. Fortunately, this ‘disease’ of unknown cause was not contagious. No other ram suffers from these abscesses.

Thats the good part. Sadly, the poor sheep was just so unfortunate.
