Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 113: Trusting The Process.
Do you believe in “Process”?
Yes I truly believe in the word “process.” To me a process is the journey between where you are and where you want to be. It is the slow steady and sometimes painful path that leads to success. Nothing great ever happens overnight. Even a seed needs time water sunlight and care before it becomes a strong tree. In the same way when we start something in life whether it is studies work a hobby or a dream there are stages we must go through. Believing in the process means being patient hopeful and consistent. It means understanding that results may not come today or tomorrow but they will eventually come if we keep moving. Many people quit too early because they cannot see progress but progress often happens quietly before it becomes visible. That is why i believe strongly in the process.
Have you ever tried something new a project or an adventure that frustrated you?
Yes i have had many experiences where i tried something new and became frustrated. One of the major ones was when i started learning online writing and content creation. At first it looked easy because i was reading the posts of others and thinking “I can also do this.” But when i sat down to write the words did not flow easily. I would write a few lines delete them write again and still feel unsatisfied. Another example is when i tried learning a new skill that i had never done before. The excitement in the beginning was high but as soon as i faced challenges and mistakes frustration came in. I felts like i was not good enoughs. I even compared myself with others who were betters than me and that mades it worse. Trying something new can be excitings at firsts but when reality sets in frustrations becomes parts of the journey.
How did you handle it when the going got tough?
When things became difficult i had to remind myself that struggle is normal. I began to understand that no project or dream comes without challenges. Instead of giving up i took small steps to manage the frustration.
First i told myself to slows down and breathe. I stopped forcing myselfs to be perfects and allowed myself to learned at my own pace. I also watched tutorials read guides and asked people with experience for help. Their advice encouraged me and showed me that everyone faces problems in the beginning.
Secondly i broke my tasks into smaller parts. Instead of trying to finishing everything at once i focused on doing a little each day. Every small progress motivated me to continue.
Lastly i reminded myself that tough moments do not last forever. When the going got tough i stayed calm took breaks when needed prayed for strength and returned with a fresh mind. This helped me stay determined instead of giving up.
Did you follow through or end the project?
Yes i followed through. There were moments when i thoughts about ending the projects because it felt too difficulties but i continued because i wanted to see the outcome of my efforts. And truly trusting the process paid off. With times my writing skills improved my confidences grew and i started seeings results. This experiences taughts me that quitting too early is likely stopping a race just before reaching the finish line. You will never know what great things were waiting for you. By following through i realized that the struggle the frustration and the slow progress were all part of my growth. If i had quit i would have learned nothing. But by staying committed i gained experience discipline and courage to start new things in the future. Trusting the process taughts me patience and helped me understanding thats success comes step by steps.

Usually, the word process means something lengthy and we humans usually think that following the due process of things takes longer time. Well, yes but most times, its the best.
