What does the phrase “In the midst of crisis” mean to you? Share your understanding in your own words.
In the midst of crisis is the popular phrase which mean to be in a dangerous situation where you find it difficult to conquer or cope, this can be a career issue, health and family relationship which are serious issue for us to handle. This crisis affecting an individual, group and society so they appear without warning which will eventually have a negative consequences in a person life.
Although crisis we experience are varies from one person to another but method we used to handle them especially in solving such challenges are different particularly when it come to suddenly change in personal issues.
When in the midst of crisis, what do you usually do, like the first thing you do? How do you handle it? (It can be personal, academic, financial, or emotional.)
I believe in destiny and whatever happens in life have a purpose, I am kind of person that always seek God Intervention in my affairs whenever I found myself in a situation that's difficult for me to handle. God is the one who provides for me and everyone, sometime my pocket can be empty so before I return back home God will do his miracle.
On a financial issue I normally contact a friend of mine to borrowed me some money in order to solve some financial challenge I am facing, with the hope that I would return the money to the owner whenever I get it. I would try as much as possible to return the money back so that I would not be a bad person in his eyes.
Do you believe crises make people stronger or weaker? Explain your view.
It depends on how a person respond to the crisis situation, this also help us to learn new things on a daily basis because what doesn't kill us make us stronger. This crisis encourage us to be more stronger as well as to have believe that how God want it.
It would also allow us to grow and also force an individuals or people to adapt to this challenge so that they can overcome this problem they face in the near future. In a crisis situation some people experience positive change after the crisis because they believe that when their is life their is hope and also appreciate quality of life that they are not destroy in the process.
What lesson(s) did you learn from that experience, and how has it shaped you today?
It's a good choice to always help others that are surrounding us, no matter how small it is, so that they can fully support us in difficult situation. Our family cannot do everything for us to escape crisis we are encounter, we must also extend our generosity to the outsiders as well because some of them are far better than our immediate family because they appreciate whatever we are done for them.
I also learned that whatever happen in this life have a purpose and God knows everything about it, so in this case we must have patient a lot because every problem have a solution.
