The women of Ekpuk Nnung Inyang in Ikot Ukpong/Ekwere Village, Ukpum Okon Clan, Ikot Abasi Local Government Area, came together in a vibrant display of unity and cultural pride to celebrate their 2025 Day Celebration. The event, held at the compound of Elder Comr. Paul Ekpeowoh, brought together community leaders, members, and guests for an afternoon of speeches, gratitude, and traditional presentations.

Apostle Chief Ekwere Nedd Inyang, the Head of Ekpuk Nnung Inyang and Father of the Day, opened the proceedings with thanks to the women for their cooperation. "I am happy with what I am seeing," he remarked, highlighting the group's progress and the positive spirit on display.

Deaconess Agnes Okon Ekwere, President of the Ekpuk Nnung Inyang Women, expressed her appreciation for the unity among members and their support for her administration. "I thank the women for their unity and for supporting my administration," she said, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in achieving the group's goals.

The group's Secretary, Deaconess Emah Paul Ekpeowoh, commended the impressive turnout and noted the organization's ongoing efforts to provide financial support to those in need. She called on husbands and family members to offer greater backing, stating, "The group has been supporting people financially. I call for support from our husbands."

Several other dignitaries also addressed the gathering, extending their thanks and encouragement. Elder Comr. Paul Ekpeowoh, praised the women's dedication. Deaconess Mercy Penieu, serving as Mother of the Day, shared words of inspiration, while Mr. Anietie Akpan added his appreciation for the group's contributions to the community.
