The craziest thing I have ever done for love was using my school fees including the whole money in my account on my girlfriend. It wasn't as my girlfriend was critically in need, she just saw something online and told me she needed it, but I complained to her that I don't have the money to purchase it for her and she felt sad.

Looking at how sad she was and her attitude towards me I went and used my school fees with the little money in my account to please her. It wasn't easy for me during the semester when I left school to hustle for three weeks before I was able to raise the money. I was stupidly in love with spending such a morning trying to please someone who only cares when things are good.

What does "love" mean to you?

To me "love" means a feeling and an emotion we naturally crave as social human beings. The words "I love you" justify the involvement of the other person and me. My saying such words doesn't mean that there is love for me alone, but it also means that love for the person is from me, creating emotional intimacy. Love is all about caring and sacrificing for one another.

With everything going on, do you still believe in love? Why?

With everything going on I don't believe in love fully. The reason why I don't believe in love is that most girls are now looking for someone who would provide them with financial assistance and not Love. As long as you can provide and care for a girl she can pretend to love you and the day you can't provide that is the end of the Love.

Yes, it is possible to love someone without doing anything "big" or "special" for them. But there are a few people in our society and this are category of people who don't believe in material possessions or wealth.

The difference between doing something for love and doing something out of obligation is that;

• For love: In doing for love actions are motivated by genuine feelings and a desire to connect or help so the person would feel happy and supportive.

• Out of Obligation: In doing for out of obligation actions are motivated by duty or necessity, regardless of personal feelings. It may not be motivated by personal desire or emotional connection, but by a sense of needing to fulfill a role or meet a requirement.
