What does Easter mean to you, why do you celebrate it.

Honestly to me Easter not only holds one of the most important feast days, but a feast day which symbolises hope, re-birth and a start of a new phase in our lives which reminds me of the story of the resurrection of Jesus Christ which is thought to be an indicator of triumph over the bad, and an assurance that things will not remain bad forever. For me, Easter therefore holds something special which reminds me of these concepts, and it helps me to relive, restart, and even remember what life is about as an event rather than religion. Apart from this, I also find it is one of the most popular celebration in the year where we come together as a family be it for religious purposes or simply for celebration or even both! It is also one of the reasons why I celebrate Easter.

How did you celebrate your Easter this year.

I had my Easter celebration this year along with my friends and I can honestly say that it was amazing. We didn't plan anything really formal, but a get-together in which everyone enjoyed themselves with chatting, games, snacks, laughing and basically chilling together which made up for a calm and happy day; lots of hilarious jokes and crazy things which had me dying with laughter and these are definitely one of those memories I can see staying with me for my life time. Sharing this celebration with my good friends who made me feel at home, with each other, this experience was quite special to me and I think that it all matters to a connection.

What is/was your favorite thing about Easter.

Easter to me personally remains my favorite holiday for the sense it gives.
The day has the ideal mix of happiness and peace running through it; to me it just feels just right.
It seems to feel brighter and each individual is more kinder, happier and even more open to connecting to anyone they feel the desire for. Another thing I personally love about it is that it is about reflecting on serious things but also has light-hearted and fun aspects, such as food which I feel is a nice balance and a great perspective on growth, renewal, cheerfulness, having food and living in the now.

Another aspect that makes Easter quite interesting for me is the fusion of tradition and personal experiences. Some individuals practice it in a more traditional and religious sense, others in a more social setting with events and get-togethers, but I like a bit of both; the essence of Easter and the fun and celebration with loved ones.

In summary, Easter is unique as it combines all in one – significance, fun and love; and this year's Easter with my friends proved to be a memorable event that reminded me of how simplicity of moments shared with the right people matters most.
