Still on the design of publicity flyers for The Overcomers Schools

Greetings, dear friends, how are you all? I hope you all are doing fine and enjoying your day. I wish for all of you good health, wealth and a prosperous time ahead. Today I am here to share with you the preparation and advertisement activities done by The Overcomers Schools, with respect to up coming 2025/2026 academic session. I hope you all will get time to read and also share your thoughts.

As the countdown to the first term school resumption for the 2025/2026 academic session progresses, the education sector is busy with advertising, both in electronics and printing media publicity. Schools are scrambling to outdo each other in a bid to attract fresh pupils and students.

If you are a social media freak, you will agree with me that almost all the social media platforms are flooded with advertisements, and school promotional posts. In the midst of this publicising and printing activities, I've found myself at the center of the action. As a designer, I had been contracted by several schools to create eye-catching flyers and brochures to aid in their marketing efforts.

The Overcomers Schools is one such institution. Their Head Teacher , Pastor Praise Amadi had approached me with a request to design flyers for their creche, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, and Primary classes. The aim is to create an attractive and informative material that they could post on their social media handles to advertise the ongoing admission process.

With the school resumption just around the corner, time is of the essence. The school administrators through Pst. Amadi informed me that they would need the soft copy of the flyer design immediately, as they wanted to start posting it online right away.

According to them, they are planning to return in a week to the school resumption collect the printed copies, just in time for the new academic session. I set to work, pouring all my creativity into the design. I carefully designed two different designs with blue and red colours respectively and I used fonts that is appealing to parents and children alike.

I ensured that the layout was clear and easy to navigate, with all the necessary information prominently displayed. After two days of meticulous work, I finally had a draft ready. I sent it over to the school Head Teacher, who was happy with my creativity in the design. After forwarding to the school management, they requested a few minor tweaks, which I happily obliged.

With the design finalized, I sent over the soft copy, and The Overcomers Schools began posting it on their social media handles. From what the Head Teacher who happens to be my friend told me, the response is massive, with many parents and guardians expressing interest in the school's programs.

With such a positive feedback, I felt a sense satisfaction. I had played a small part in helping The Overcomers Schools attract new students, and I'm waiting for them for the printing of the flyers.
