This has become the order of the day everywhere and I still doubt the possibility of changes. Everyone tries to play this stupid which is not knowing what to do.
Your points are valid, but the implementation would be the challenge. Everyone believes that it has been so, in that case we should all keep it going.

Yes, that's true! I also think implementing it isn't easy, as something once maintained is difficult to let go of.
