Highlights of our Nigerian steemit meetup
The importance of steemians meeting to discuss and rob minds together should not be overlooked, because there are lots of lessons to learn; after our last meetup in Uyo Akwaibom state Nigeria, we decided to hold another one this year November 29, 2025.
All the preparations were made while the founders of the steem4nigeria community and steemkids & parents joined hands together to make it a successful one.
We agreed to voluntarily contribute for the booking of the venue and renting of chairs while some contributed and some supported with cash, the day came, and we gathered to discuss the way forward.
The MC of the day was @bossj23 who opened the meetup by giving everyone the opportunity to introduce themselves by our real names and usernames. After that @xkool24 continued to tell us some things we need to know as steemians, he shared his experience and encouraged everyone to be consistent and original while being our brother's keeper.

@ngoenyi during her speech
We all know our outstanding mama @ngoenyi who happens to be one of the oldest Nigerian steemian till Date; she handled the next agenda which talks about networking , exploring and engagement. She encouraged us to always engage meaningfully with others while she opened the floor for questions.
We have another humble mentor in the person of goodybest who urged both new and old steemian to follow the trend on steemit, she further encouraged the newbies to follow the learning challenge that is ongoing.
As a newbie curator for November, I was given the floor to advise and encourage our younger ones, from the things I said I employ them to be consistent and follow the rules . I also reminded them the importance of tags and making dairygame at the appropriate time .
@Kinkyamiee shared her knowledge on software development with the steem4nigeria community, she promised to create time out of her busy schedules to educate us more.
There were games and fast fingers. Which @eveetim team won.

Others who couldn't join physically were able to join online.
It was a Meetup that we will not forget in a hurry, unlike last year own this year was more coordinated and inspiring though many weren't there to witness.
All thanks to everyone that made this meetup a successful one. I'm sure next year own will be better and bigger.
Fun and entertainment followed.
