INTRODUCTION

Hello great steemians from steem4nigeria community. I am here again in this community to post my entry on The Best Way to Handle Stress. I love this contest and I want to thank Steem4nigeria for organizing this contest. In this post, Iam going to explain ways stress could be handled. Enjoy reading. Come with me.

Explain what stress is in your own word

Stress in my own word is a situation in which a person feels exhausted as a result of overwork, overthinking or pressure. When someone is stressed, it means the person is seriously tired as a result of pressure from much work. Every human being seems to experience stress at one point or the other daily. Although stress could be positive if it is short-lived, excessive or repeated one could cause sickness.

What are the best way to handle stress?

Stress is unavoidable in people's lives. what maters most is how to handle it. Stress can be handled in many ways, including the following
  1. Take a Deep Rest. One of the best ways to handle stress is to rest. By resting, I mean much relaxation. You can relax with a friend in a different environment outside your home or at home with a novel. Rest can also be in form of a deep sleep. With this, one's mind is relaxed and the stress is relieved.

  2. Do a lot of exercises. Exercise is one way of managing stress. Exercise can be walking around, jogging, playing football, etc. When one exercises, there's tendency for a great relieve from stress because the brain is reset to a positive way of engagement.

  3. Listening to good music. Since stress mostly has to do with emotion, listening to good music can relieve it. When someone is stressed, relaxing with music that will make you feel happy is a yardstick to handling stress.

Have you been stressed before? What caused it and what did you do?

Oh yes, several times I had experienced stress because of the nature of my work as a teacher. Very recently, during exams time, I was stressed up. This was as a result of the exams I supervised since morning till 5pm. As the chairman of exams committee, I had to be there to oversee all the exams from the beginning to the end even when all other teachers had left by 3pm. I was really exhausted that I slept off while sitting. The picture above refers.

What did you do?

I was shocked that a student came tapped me at the shoulder and I woke up. I had to appoint the school head boy to supervise the exams for me while I relaxed to recover myself.

Do you think stress can can solve this life challenge?

Not at all. Stress cannot solve any problem rather it aggrevates it. Continuous stress can lead to death in extreme cases. That's why it is pertinent to find solution on how to avoid stress. <div class="text-center" ## What advice can you give to someone that is under stress right now?
If anyone is under stress now, I can advise him to take a break from whatever you are doing and have enough rest. Eat and drink something you like most. You can also discuss the causes of the stress with a friend to help counsel you. The person can also play a game or watch movies, all in the name of easing out the stress.

Finally, I want to advise that no one should joke with stress because it either reduces your health, get you sick or kills. Do what you can at a time. Listen to your body sign and relax.

You should write your opinion and how you feel not write; I describe stress in my own words.

If it comes to you tips they don't look helpful. Imagine you have to be somewhere in time and that bus is late again. You will take a deep sleep? If I am stressed I cannot sleep, it's better to distract myself. Blank mind or better: be prepared for whatever can happen that gives you stress.

Excercise to fight stress? So if I have stress at work I say to the nagging customer: sorry I will first bicycle for an hour and help you when I feel better? I already take the bike to work and walk a lot (at my work and in the village, no car) so it's enough exercise if you ask me. I tell you all I want is to stay home. Stress is brought by people, always, everywhere. If you are told to show up at the principal's office, if your father tells you to be prepared, if your sport and even if you want to listen to music and share a room or home with people who don't like the noise you listen at.
A bit of stress can be healthy but if it eats you it's better to ask yourself: Why am I keep doing this!
