What I ate today
Today, I wasn't feeling okay, but as usual, I had to go to work and hustle.
So, I will be talking about what I ate today and a little bit of a rant.
Many times you had plans of getting up the next day to be energetic and have a stress-free day. But life always has another plan for you. That's why I don't believe in rigid schedules... Your schedules can be flexible and can cope with what life throws at you without much damage.
Most times, I usually prepare food in the morning that I will carry to work.
Today, I prepared pasta and sauce. In Nigeria, we call it spaghetti. So I ate a little before leaving home. So when I got to work and did some preparation for the day's work. I prepared my schedule and planned the content for the day. Then it was time to feed my stomach.
Do you prefer Jolof spaghetti or white spaghetti with sauce? I prefer the white and sauce pasta. I have a close relationship with my colleagues, so we feast on the food together, and the compliments they keep giving me are not small.
After eating, we had to work, and there was a lot that we had to do for the day. So I was so busy and couldn't eat lunch. I didn't even know when it was lunchtime because work choked.
It was almost closing time, and I was feeling hungry, so I had a little snack.
This is the first time I am trying those wafer biscuits.
I always say I don't like wafers, but the hunger made me eat them, and it was not bad. I think I will try them again.
I was still at work when I got migraine. My head and eyes hurt so badly. I had to take pain relief and rest a little. I couldn't even finish up with the plans I made and everything I had to do for the day. Which I am really pained by because I do not like having to shift my work forward. It looks like double work for me.
But it is what it is.
So that's all I had to eat today... I just drank tea when I got home cause I don't like late food.
