My Experience in uyo for the national meetup

Hello friends

30th November 2024 will always be a day to remember for me! Do you wish to know why?

It never crossed my mind that I would be a part the national meetup so I never planned for it. But guess what? I finally attended the meetup.

On the 29th of November I meet up with @ninapenda and @xkool24 to join them to uyo since I didn't know the address for the meetup.

We had a smooth ride to uyo and we had a glamorous welcome from @ngoenyi @sahmie ans others. We were lodged in a hotel to keep our bags and we went to her house for dinner. We ate Eba and soup for dinner and went back to the hotel to relax.

Saturday morning which was 30th we decided to visit the venue where Mrs ngoenyi does her exercise tutorial, on our way we stopped by to buy akara(beans cake) and bread so that we can have something to eat. The beans and akaracost us 1000 naira approximately2.5 steem

When we got to the venue where the exercise was done, I was amazed to see men and women exercising, we sat down to look around and encourage them. While we sat down watching we ate our bread and akara joyful.

After the exercise we went to Mrs ngoenyi's house for a proper breakfast , she prepared yam and pepper soup, the food was really delicious and sure if you taste it, you will confirm. After eating we went back to our hotels rooms to prepare for the main event by 2pm.

Getting prepared for the big meetup I got dressed and waited for ninapenda so wes could go together. We got dressed looking beautiful! And joined the rest at the venue.

At the meetup it was an amazing moment for me because I met many Steemians for the first time.

Thee meetup was comprised of different sections like;

• Speech giving by our leaders
• Questions and Answer
• Gift presentation
• Refreshments
• Picture taken
• Dance Dance Dance
• After Party.

Presentation of Gifts from bossj23 through ngoenyi

Speech was given to us by several amazing Steemians such as xkool24, goodybest and ngoenyi. Each of them tacked several subjects and I believe we learned something valuable.

After that we had it section. @bossj23 sent gifts across to us. Beautiful gifts. Some Steemians got several gifts ranging from picture portrait, power banks, wristwatches, head set. For me I got a beautiful white deep plate.

After presentation of gifts we were served with a delicious fried rice, salad and chicken. It was a sumtious meal. The food was so delicious that I wanted more.

After the pictures we moved on to the session were we danced and danced. Well I didn't dance because I don't know how to do I just say down and watched those who were dancing. It was an amazing scene.

By the time we were done with dancing it was so late but guess what? Party was not over as we were taken out to go for more flexing. We bought a locally prepared meat called suya and drinks and pork meat. It was an amazing moment for some of that were opportuned to feast that night.

After eating and gisting together, it was finally time to go back to our various rooms. It was an amazing moment for me meeting up and enjoying together. We talked about a lot of things. And the next morning I left uyo very early because I needed to catch up for a meeting.

I can't wait for next year's national meetup. I know it will be great!!. I appreciate everyone who made it a super success!
