Hi steemit team,
I write in light of the ongoing community curator application for October 2022. Based on the announcement made by the team through the steemitblog, I'm delighted to present my application and hope that if I'm found worthy of this task then I will be given the privilege to serve in that regard.

I join the steemit platform on the 9th of November 2020. At the time of writing this application, I'm already a year and ten months in platform I.e (1 year and 10 months). Ever since I joined the platform, I have been fortunate to join all the ongoing programs I.e contests, academies and even the current engagement. I also joined the club status initiative and based on my little effort I have been able to join members of #club100. The burnsteem initiative is also another thing I have made part of me.
Based on my commitment to this noble platform, I'm delighted to say I have held and am still holding some notable positions in the steemit platform. Currently, I'm working as a MOD in three different communities I.e @steem4nigeria, @steem4bloggers and @steemit-travel.
To add to that, I have also worked with the efficient seven curation team and I have been with the team for about 4 months currently I'm working with Team 3 curation team under the leadership of @inspiracion and other notable steemians namely @chiabertrand, @harferri, @lavanyalakshman. I have learnt a lot from these teams of mine and I believe I have sufficient knowledge when it comes to curation.
I'm a computer scientist and also currently working as an engaged staff in the College of Education here in the Akwanga local government area of Nasarawa state. As a lecturer, I work hard to have little knowledge about almost everything hence I have always trained my students to be very creative and not limit their knowledge.
Currently, I live permanently in Nigeria and the general language used by Nigerians is English. Hence, I must say I read and speak English fluently and I also prefer writing in English as well.
As of the time of writing this article, my steem power is 19,704.66. This is own steem power without any delegated in. My voting CSI is 17.8 and I have successfully distributed 154 upvotes to 117 accounts in the past 7 days. My reputation is 72.756, for the sake of clarity, I will be presenting this information in the table below.

I have delegated a total of 6,557.41 SP to 4 different accounts and I will be listing and explaining my reasons for delegations here.
Accounts I delegated to
I delegate 3k SP to @steem4nigeria to support the official community account of my beloved country Nigeria. I have also delegated 1k SP to @yakspeace for a contest she won in the @steem4nigeria community. This delegation is going to last for 21 days. I will be removing the delegation on the 22nd day of this month because I delegated it on the 1st day of this month.
I have also delegated 2k SP to @steemkidss an official account for all children who are steemians all over the world. It was founded by my mentor @ngoenyi, she has always sorted for ways in ensuring that steemians get full support on the platform. I have also delegated 500 SP to @steemit-travel and that is to show my commitment as one of the MODs.
I love curating subjects related to creative writing and also any science-related articles. As a lecturer, I love seeing the creativity of people and also ideas or ways in which the steemit platform can be promoted because I'm a big fan of this promotion activity.
I can serve with any number of team members but for efficiency's sake, I prefer to serve in a team of seven persons so that everyone can work diligently and effectively. Currently, I'm working with a team of five people which is also very good for me because all the steemians I'm working with are very active and determined.
In essence, whatever number of people in a team I find myself, I can serve.
Based on the guides for this assignment, I believe I have all the requirements for the work and for that reason I have decided to give it a try via my application. I do hope that the steemit team will give my application due consideration. I have served and I'm still serving, it will be a pleasure on my part to serve in this capacity once again.
You are a role model to the up and coming ones like us as we look to you not only as senior, but as a brotherly figure..
