Words will fail us to describe the joy and feelings in our hearts as all roads lead to Oba's place in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State of Nigeria for a one of its kinds event.

Finally the day has come, it was enjoyed and it's passed. It was indeed a remarkable day, a day that brought together all Nigerian Steemians together under one canopy, creating an atmosphere filled with camaraderie and shared passion, serving as a powerful reminder that there is strength and unity within the Nigerian Steemit community as some users such as @ruthjoe, @ninapenda, @Sahmie, @xkool24 and @Bonaventure24 came from far and wide to grace the occasion.

The day started with an opening prayer, then moved onto introductions so we could get to know each other better even though our usernames were on the back of our T-shirts.

Afterwards, ma @ngoenyi opened the event with inspiring teachings on "Why Steemit?" She emphasized the platform's potential to empower individual users through content creation and financial rewards, while also creating an avenue for its users to learn new things for free. In her own words;

Why Steemit? Steemit is like no other social media platform as it is a one of its kind where users get to create content about their daily life and get rewarded for doing so. You farm, write about your farm and earn. You cook, create content about it and earn. Etc.

Her heartfelt words resonated with many, igniting a renewed sense of purpose among every Steemians present, even those who had one issue or the other take a break from the platform.

Following her teachings, Ma @goodybest took the stage to discuss the importance of engagement. She highlighted how meaningful interactions can elevate content visibility and foster community spirit.

Highlighting how making a meaningful contribution to someone's content not only encourages them to do more, but also to reach out to you and return the favor. Her insights encouraged everyone to actively participate and support one another, reinforcing the idea that engagement is key to success on the platform.

Finally, Sir @Xkool24 discussed how everyone one of us can promote Steemit in our neighborhood while also sharing valuable strategies on how each and everyone can promote Steemit effectively. His practical tips and innovative approaches provided attendees with actionable steps to enhance their presence and reach a wider audience. The strategies he outlined sparked enthusiasm and creativity among the participants.

However, the golden jewel to the crown everyone was excited about was his discussion on how we could try to make the national meet up an annual event while also putting the costs into consideration.

After their teachings, the event went into a dialogue session where those who were having one issue or the other could speak their mind and ask for help were needed. Answers and help was given in areas needed by the more experienced members present.

Remember they say "The sweetest part of the food is tasted towards the bottom end of the pot", that was exactly what happened as @Bossj23 brought a mystery box filled with gift items for fellow Steemians and the gift was distributed to each person, putting broad smiles on their faces.

Overall, the event was a beautiful blend of knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and community bonding. It left everyone feeling motivated to contribute more actively to the Steemit platform and support one another in their journeys. The connections made and lessons learned will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the entire Nigerian Steemit community.

We want to take this medium to say a big thank you to the entire Nigerian Steemit family, the Co-organizers of the event @steemkidss and @goodybest for your enormous support to bring this event to reality against all odds and make some Nigerian Steemians wishes and dreams come through. May you continue to grow higher highs in every aspect of life, God bless you all. Till we meet again, remain blessed.
