Mosquitoes are responsible for more human deaths than any other animal on the planet.

These little annoying creatures🤧🤧😂😂
And I heard there are over 3500 species in the world...
Not only that they are responsible for the transmission of malaria, we all know. I read that they also transmit diseases such as; Zika virus , dengue fever , west Nile virus, amongst many others😂.

Mosquitoes are perhaps one of the most universal pests in the world.

They are found in most continents except for Antarctica. You should find out why...
Maybe they don't like cold🤧😂

I've dropped the step-by-step progress of how I made the drawing, then also talk about the evil insect😂 later...

What kind of animal is it

A mosquito is an insect. Specifically, it is a member of the family Culicidae, which is a family of small, flying insects known for their ability to feed on the blood of humans and other animals. Mosquitoes have long, slender bodies with six legs and wings. They are commonly found in warm, humid climates and are known for their high-pitched buzzing sound and their irritating bites plus Thier ability to transmit deadly diseases like I mentioned earlier.

Have you ever seen one before?

Yes!
And I hate them. They give me sleepless night😂
Not often though. But most times.

What is their use to humans

Despite the fact that they cause nuisance and are also a potential vector for diseases, mosquitoes do play a role in the ecosystem.
The roles are:

Pollination
Some mosquito species are known to pollinate certain plant species by feeding on nectar.

Source of Food
Mosquito larvae serve as food for various aquatic organisms like fish, amphibians, and other insects. Adult mosquitoes are also consumed by some birds, bats, and other insect-eating animals

Decomposition
Mosquito larvae help to break down organic matter in water bodies, contributing to the decomposition process.

Overall, while mosquitoes can be harmful to humans due to their ability to transmit diseases, they do have a place in the natural environment and serve as food sources for other organisms.

Nice drawing of a mosquito, if only they suck their blood in silence, but they have to sing first 😭 which is not always necessary.

Always a perfectionist in drawing, as always your drawing is exceptional and the steps are so easy to follow and the end result is stunning. Nice job and keep it up.
