May 19 oil pastel painting.

Hello friends,

I really enjoyed painting with oil pastel yesterday, so I decided to use it again.

Materials

Oil pastel

Red craft paper

White pencil

Colors

White

Light blue

Blue

Ultramarine

Process

First I made a light sketch of the Unicorn with a white pencil.

I then was working on the lightest spots. I marked the darkest spot as well.

Now, adding some shades and dark hair for the mane.

At the end I’m adding highlights wherever it’s needed, working more on the eye, and ears.

That’s it, our magical Unicorn is done!
