Brief review of a Sunday working in the garden
Source: Family Album
Hello dear friends. Today I want to show you what a Sunday is like in our garden. We are not satisfied with the results in it, the activities we do during the week make us fall behind, and working on a day like today is the only way to catch up.
We got up determined to catch up on the pending tasks in the garden. The last rains contributed to the growth of the weeds and took over the place, perhaps you think I am exaggerating, however, you can see it in the images.

Since there is a lot to do, planning will be essential for a better performance of the day, we are going to face this problem with the old methods of the grandparents, where it was cleaned with the help of the hoe and without products that affect the fruit or the soil.

We start in the most critical place, inside and between the parents, these are empty waiting for the new season, once the cold weather is over we will start planting, we plan to plant a wide variety of vegetables. We take advantage of the occasion by removing the earth. As you can see there was a lot of grass.
All the yuyo that we gather we are going to take to the composter, there we will put the green materials on the dry ones so that the composting process is carried out, when joining these two elements they heat each other, and composting is put into operation.

Corn plants were very neglected, we have to attack the grasses, move the earth, and move closer to the base of the stem, this is done to contribute to the growth of the plant, while we move the earth is a good opportunity to locate the plants that are on top in the spaces where the seed has not germinated.
With the help of a shovel we carefully separate the plants, and thus avoid damaging the roots, once we extract the plant, we are able to place it in its new place, we make a hole enough large to fit the plant, then we cover the hole with dirt and finish with generous watering.
Early planting of cassava is a success, the plants are developing very well, although it requires soil reclamation work, and more land on its stem, carefully, and without damaging the plants , with the hoe we bring land to its roots, we make a furrow around the plant for irrigation and we finish hydrating its roots.
Pruning the trees in front was another pending task, here we usually do it before the arrival of frost, or the first days of May. With the help of a fence we neatly cut its branches, so that we can use it in the garden.

Now is the time to correct the things that were wrong with the squash plants, we clean the weeds, we bring land to their stems, and we correct the guides in such a way that they do not obstruct each other .

To do this we take the pruning branches, clean and cut into small sections, these will serve to guide the guides where we want, this work is vital for the development of plants and fruits of squash varieties

As you can read it was a very hectic day, and to be honest we ended up exhausted, being close to nature, renewing energy, catching up on to-do and making a video to share with you guys made it worth it. I wish you all a prosperous week.
