The Last Winter Post (Hopefully) and My Coronavirus Situation

Well, I started self isolation this week due to Covid-19. I am a person in the high risk group so I thought it was my best choice given what I know at the moment. I am semi-retired but I gave up a part-time job to self quarantine. I loved the physicality of the job... it was kind of a paid workout. :) Part of the job though was dealing with the public and there seems to be a lot of ignorant people that don't truly understand the possible implications of this virus.

Also the lack of a competent and sane response by my federal government is quite depressing. Their gas-lighting wants me to believe we are dealing with "Schrodinger's virus" both a hoax and a national emergency at the same time. On the bright side it seems like some states and local governments are trying to fill the lack of leadership from the federal level.

I had hoped by now to be doing more spring like activities out on the high desert. Unfortunately a late winter storm that was only suppose to last a day or so has still left us with cold temps and significant snow on the ground four days later. It's still a pretty sight though so here are some pics from a little walk I took.
