My office is located next to the Buriganga River. Numerous factories have been built on both sides of the river. Besides, there is a green area on both sides of the river.

Standing on the riverbank, the sunset in the afternoon is a very beautiful sight. When I am sad, I come to the bank of the Buriganga River and sit alone. Large launches travel from the capital, Dhaka, to the southern part of the country through the river. When the large launches pass, they create huge waves in the river. The water of the capital Dhaka, is drained through the Buriganga River, so the river water is polluted with the city's waste. Now it is winter in our country, so the water flow in the river is low.

During the rainy season, the water level of the river increases, so tourists enjoy coming to the riverbanks more during the rainy season. A tourism industry has developed along the river in a large area. There are several large restaurants and picnic spots on both sides of the river. The river is about 29 kilometers long, about 400 meters wide, and 10 meters deep. The river originates from the Dhaleshwari River. The commerce of the capital, Dhaka, develops through this river. The historical places of the capital, Dhaka, are located on the banks of the Buriganga River.

The Buriganga River merges with the two major rivers of Bangladesh, the Meghna and the Padma. The depth and width of the river have gradually increased. I took some pictures standing on the riverbank. Many jetties have been set up on both sides of the river for commercial purposes. I took pictures of the Buriganga River from the oil refinery jetty. The oil refinery jetty is used to transport goods from several major industrial plants in the area.

The top companies of our country have been established on the banks of the Buriganga River. Tourists get great pleasure from seeing the views of the river. Especially families from the capital Dhaka come to visit the river banks in the afternoon to entertain their children.
