For photography, I have chosen the Shaheed Minar as one of the iconic landmarks in the city. We know that in every city, one of the prominent places is the Shaheed Minar, and it is a very beautiful and significant location. If I were to name this Shaheed Minar for you, I would say it is the central Shaheed Minar of Bogura. It was first established in September 2005 through Mr. Tarique Rahman. Later, it was renovated between 2022 and 2023. This was carried out by the district council with an implementation cost of 5 million BDT. Its estimated value is 714,285 Steem.

However, it was originally established in 1978, but this history is not discussed much; rather, the one established in 2005 gets the most attention. The Bogura Central Shaheed Minar is an important monument built in memory of the martyrs of the Language Movement. Since 1978, it has gone through various stages of construction, removal, and reconstruction, and recently it has been rebuilt as a modern and dignified monument, serving as an enduring symbol of the struggle and identity of the city's people. In the present time, it is a wonderful icon that I see within this city.

This Shaheed Minar is located in a place where this park is a small park, the name of this park is Shaheed Khokon Shaheed Park. The place is surrounded by natural environments, vegetation and large buildings, and is a place where the core of a city is a central place. A lot of people come here and sit for a long time and there is a lot of noise around people. I photographed it at a time when the sunlight was shining all around. In front of the Shaheed Minar, there is a very large place where the flooring will be beautiful with tiles that are shining light.

At this Shaheed Minar, they created it in three steps: two on the sides, one in the middle, and one at the back. There is a symbol of the Bangladesh flag in the center, a red circular shape, which is the most important symbol of the Shaheed Minar. Additionally, its architecture has been made very strong and sturdy with the help of some new constructions a few years ago. Because of this, its beauty and strength are much better. Alongside, in front of the Shaheed Minar, there is a large, beautifully designed area with tiles where people can sit. There are also stairs, providing arrangements for sitting on the stairs or going up and down. I have presented all of this below the photographs.

This is a place where people can walk around freely and experience a sense of openness, which is very hard to find in a city. It is not near any market, nor is it close to any roundabout where there would be constant traffic. Instead, there are places to sit, natural grass, and greenery, where people can comfortably talk and spend time. Just like the other night when I visited here and shared a photograph, as well as during the daytime when I spent quite some time here. Additionally, while doing photography here, I took a selfie and also captured a photo with the camera in the background.

Bogra district is a large district and it is densely populated, and the city here gets the most crowded, as far as I can tell from my experience. Among the northern regions of Bangladesh, Bogra district is one of the prominent districts, and people say that it is the second capital of Bangladesh. In such a district, the central Shaheed Minar is very impressive. I have recorded a short video to present it more beautifully for you.
