Monthly Reports Made Easy: "Guidelines for Streamlined and Effective Post Updates"

Hope you all are well. Today I am here on behalf of this community and on behalf of @rme Dada to share an important guidelines with you all.

We have decided to start a new activity in our community. Which you all will be glad to know. And I hope this activity is important to everyone on this platform.

There are many communities on this platform. But we all don't know what kind of work is going on in all communities or what kind of rules are going on, which we all should know because if we want to work simultaneously in this one platform , some common rules must be the same everywhere. This will make a platform more nice and attractive to outsiders.

And another thing is that ideas grow when ideas are shared. We are going to start an initiative where every community will get a chance to know all the rules of every community. Also, if someone needs new ideas, they can learn from others' rules or activities.

📌 Announcement about Monthly Community Update Post.

Currently we want to start another new activity so that everyone can publish a nice report of their community in this community but of course it is Monthly. I repeat, "Monthly Community Update" can be posted once per month.and Weekly report posts are completely closed.

The reason for saying this twice. Earlier when we talked about publishing weekly report, few admins, moderators were posting more than one weekly. Which is illegal. It is not expected from a reputed community admin, moderator. If a responsible member is irresponsible, it cannot be accepted. Which we are facing a lot these days.

So we have decided that everyone will publish a report of their community monthly and if anyone does more than one, that post will be immediately muted and If you post more than one report in a month, then that post will not be given in the nomination.We are forced to make such strict rules for some user irregularities. Hopefully, it's good for the community.
📌What will be the monthly report look like?
A monthly report should be a complete report of all the activities of a community in a month.
I am mentioning below some options of what to mention in the post which will increase the quality of the post.More information are always welcome.

  • 1.Of course the community will have a monthly update of all the work.

  • 2.There will be full updates on the community curation system.

  • 3.You can write about how all the functions of the panel are done.

  • 4.Information about what contest is run or how the contest is run in the community will be mentioned.

  • 5.You can mention if there is any problem in the community.

  • 6.Can mention if something in the community.

  • 7. The basic rules of the community will be mentioned.

  • 8.What the community is notable for can be specified.

  • 9.It should state what policies the community has regarding abuse or what steps are taken to catch abuse.

  • 10.It should be noted that there are any privileges or specials in the community.

  • 11.How users can benefit from working in the community can be specified.

  • 12.Finally,post an update on all of the community's activities. The post that will mention all the monthly activities of a community.

That is, the monthly update post of the community does not mean just mentioning the curation report. If someone posts an update only mentioning the curation report, that post will be considered as a spamming post. Which is definitely disrespectful for a community. So I hope you refrain from this kind of work.

🖍️Suggestion
Since you will try to post the monthly update post of your community every month. Therefore, every month, a different person of the community administrator panel will try to do the community update post. In this, everyone can present the information about their community beautifully to everyone.

Through this activity, an opportunity will be created for everyone to be aware of all the community activities. And we will also know about all the community rules and if there is any need or correction, we can help.

    I think this is the best way to present the reports and by this method, the traffic of weekly reports will be eradicated. Thanks a lot for this initiative.

      we have done for years now weekly reports like this

      this includes a list of our activities and stats, we use it to try to achieve an standard line of activities every week, in that case this will not be possible anymore in Steem Alliance?
