Hump Day.……….Cascade Wanderings

It’s Wednesday which means it’s hump day. It was also my Monday at work.

The little guy in the first photo may not have fared so well. I see no signs of life. This next little guy is definitely on the go!

My day began a bit earlier than usual. I got to work ahead of my normal time as the doc was going to arrive at 9 AM to meet a man about raising the clinic because of the threat of flooding. There are lots of homes in the area that have been raised or are in process, but no businesses as of yet. It’s a pricey endeavor at around $150,000 or so. I’m not sure how it will play out; either we raise it or we remodel with moveable fixtures and whatnot that could be more easily dealt with than our existing circumstances.

We originally were booked, but with cancellations and no shows, we ended up losing 3 appointments for the day.

Tomorrow is slated to be a me, myself and I day, but I’ve got a feeling it might not be as productive as some are. A lot of jobs came in which means a lot of people will probably stop in to collect them.

Friday sees me with a fill in doc. He’s a good guy and easy to work with. Next week will be a repeat schedule of this week. 😎
