Bye-Bye 2025!....... NW Cascade Wanderings
The clock is ticking on 2025!
In my time zone, we have just a few hours until 2025 is no more. For some of you, it’s already done and gone and you’ve moved into 2026!
This year marks the 45th anniversary of my husband’s and my ‘blind date’! Yep-you heard right-blind date! Well, needless to say it stuck, but this has always made New Year’s Eve special for us. 😍
It does beg the question-where does the time go and why does it seem like it was just yesterday? Maybe someday, we will understand the mysteries of time, but for now, we will just have to ponder it.
I’m off work for today and tomorrow, so the day had no schedule. On our way to a coffee date, we stopped at the clinic to deliver and set up the replacement de-humidifier. Once that was done, we set out to Lynden to our favorite Starbucks for some refreshment.
Then, with points I’d accumulated at Safeway, filled up the car with a $.50 discount per gallon of gas! Score! Then, inside the store for a couple of goodies to round out this evening with, and headed for home to spend the last few hours of 2025 together.
The Amazon truck left me a new toy today!
It is a USB diffuser that vaporizes water and essential oils into the air! It’s made to look like a flame and it sure does, especially in a dark room! I purchased this for work because of residual flood odors that are lingering. It is very cool! 😎
As for my kitties; Cyle is being a sleepy one, and Cot-well Cot is Cot, lol!
