We stood on the ridge top just below Towhee Ridge. The smoke from the loggers burning the wood waste piles billowed straight upward far below us!😮
Silvertop has been an outdoorsman for many years. I learned long ago, that if the smoke from a campfire goes sideways, you can expect bad weather.
If the campfire smoke goes straight up, you have good Weather coming!🤗
I looked down at the screen of my iPhone, to see water droplets on the glass!😅
Hmmm……………..🤔
With the Ocean so close, all bets are off Lol!🤣
The recent rain and wind storms have taken a good deal of the leaves off the trees, still…… here and there, Fall color remains!😊
According to the weather forecast, we are in between rain storms…………
I have learned that the Weather forecast on my iPhone can be deceiving!😮
100 % chance of rain for the day……………
But from late afternoon till late at night each “Hour” of the day had 50 to 60 percent chance of rain!🤔
So…… it can be forecasted as a rain day, but really it’s like flipping a coin at 50/50%☺️
So PEPE and Silvertop took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the Mountains, with 50% chance of “NO” rain!😇
